40' Chris Craft - 1959

You have just stumbled upon a valuable treasure. This 1959 Chris Craft is a classic with sleek lines & true style. In 1959 this motor yacht was rated the fastest in its class at about 45 mph. Over the last 44 years this yacht has been a celebrity entertainment yacht belonging to the Barnum family, of Barnum & Bailey Circus, for one, and a Miami River live aboard.

All of the original Chris Craft stainless, bronze, and teak fittings and furnishings are aboard. 60% of the planking (anything questionable) has all been replaced and the engine rooms are all maxed out and ready for the new twin Crusader engines. Brand new engine mounts and couplings still in boxes. Brand new generator, contractor grade, also not fitted.

This is a classic boat owners dream, and nightmare at the same time. If you don't like refurbishing and fine tuning don't consider this yacht. It is a project boat. An easy project but still a project for a few months.
