Strictly Sail ® Miami Features the World’s Largest Selection of Catamarans
Strictly Sail rolls out
the red carpet for these magnificent participants from around the globe. The multihull Queen of the Show is a 74’ model from SUNREEF YACHTS (Poland/France). Ooh-la-la, what a beauty! An unbelievably large cruiser, she’s a sailboat big enough to have a flybridge. Cutting-edge technology and sophisticated design combine to make her a magnificent, sumptuous craft inside and out. A trio of exciting debutante cats are in the spotlight. The Eleuthera 60 from FOUNTAINE PAJOT (France) is an amazing, large, well appointed catamaran. Others making their first appearance in the US are the FastCat 50 cat from AFRICAN YACHTS (South Africa) and the Broadblue 42 from BROADBLUE CATAMARANS (England). Broadblue Catamarans, the UK’s leading catamaran manufacturer, recently opened a US office. The Broadblue 42 offers safe and comfortable offshore sailing whilst bringing security and luxury into the coastal environment. The monohull Queen of the Show is a
62’ beauty from OYSTER MARINE, LTD. (England) (shown at right). She took
line honors in the recent Caribbean 1500, and is an excellent example of
superb craftsmanship offering high levels of quality, comfort and
performance. Be sure to check out the worldwide premiere of the Stevens Custom 53 from legendary designer Bill Stevens and the Stevens Design Team (Coronado, CA) after a 10-year hiatus. Completely equipped as luxurious second home with a state-of-the-art galley that’s a cook’s dream, she is built for single handed and blue water sailing. All you need are topsiders and a toothbrush when you move onboard. New to the Show, the Southerly 115 (37’LOA) and Southerly 110 (35’6”LOA) from NORTHSHORE YACHTS, LTD. (England), are a show-stopper sister act. The 115 (shown at left), with swing keel, twin rudder arrangement and powerful rig, provides outstanding sailing performance with precise directional stability for fast blue water passage. Designed by Rob Humphreys, the 110 offers shallow draft freedom and deep draft performance. |
