The Ramp Stair Corporation is proud to announce that a patent has been issued and will be published for a “CONVERTIBLE DOCK RAMP”, by the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office) on January 9, 2007 under the name of the inventor; Stephen A. Carrigan, Cornelius, NC.

The Ramp Stair is the answer to accessing your watercraft more easily at low water, as well as high. It was invented by long time lake dweller and Cornelius resident Steve Carrigan. Steve’s experience was the quickest way down an icy dock ramp in winter is on ones backside. That led to years of experimenting and finally to the Ramp Stair.

The Ramp Stair is just that, a Ramp, and a Stair-way all in one. It can be easily switched from one mode to the other. If you want to roll a cooler up or down use the Ramp mode, and if you want to walk up or down more easily you can switch to the Stair mode, at any time, and at any water depth. The Ramp Stair has been referred to as the “Cadillac” of boat dock ramps.
