Marina Forklift Operator - This position is responsible for the efficient and safe operation of forklifts and other mechanical equipment at a Marina facility. Responsibilities includes operating a forklift to lift materials 15 tons or greater, load, unload, stack and transport equipment and vessels to their designated locations. Employees in this classification must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies. These employees must perform related work as required.

REQUIREMENTS: Considerable (2 – 4 years) experience in the operation of forklifts. Experience operating a forklift in a dry storage marina, and handling vessels up to 36 feet “length over all” (L.O.A.) and 14,000 lbs “gross weight” (G.W.) is preferred. Marine Technician - The Lauderdale Marina is looking for a Certified Marine Technician. The ideal candidate will possess current official manufacturer certifications for Mercury and Yamaha outboard engines, including Mercury Verado and Yamaha 350 HP. Construction Manager - Derecktor Shipyards, in business since 1947, is a new yacht and commercial craft construction in aluminum and steel, and repair facility. The Construction Manager (CM) will be responsible for all facets of project execution including, but not limited to, direction and coordination of the trades and management and administration of the project and construction subcontracts.
