THE ART PINDER "KING OF SLING" TOURNAMENT

Will be held at Shake-A-Leg in Coconut Grove on May 19th, 2012.

This fun tournament will feature many categories including Mens, Women, Slings/ Polespear, Juniors, disabled, professional, and LIONFISH.


We will have a party immediately following the fish weigh in and a party that will feature food trucks and a raffle. Among the raffle items we have dive gear, art, a freediving course from US National Freediving Record Holder Ted Harty of IMMERSION FREEDIVING, and an Adidas Real Madrid team ball signed by the entire 2011/12 roster.


This will be a fun tournament for a great cause Shake-A-Leg and we hope you will join us. Shake-A-Leg Miami is a not-for-profit working with children & adults with physical, developmental and economic challenges in a marine environment, utilizing Biscayne Bay to teach environmental lessons, therapeutic sailing, swimming & kayaking.


The captains meeting will take place on Thursday May 17th. At least 1 member of each team should attend to sign up.
The SOUTH FLORIDA FREE DIVERS invite you to this event, which will benefit Shake-A-Leg and will be a fun spearfishing tournament with many categories, a gear raffle and a great party.

Categories for top team, top mens, top womens, top junior, top jurassic, largest fish and LARGEST LIONFISH !!!

We are also happy to announce that members of the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame, will join us for the Ceremony Party. And also welcome all organizations that want to educate the public on our local natural resources.
