According to a report by the Miami Herald, a grand piano suddenly, mysteriously appeared on a sandbar, roughly 200 yards from the Quayside condominiums off Northeast 107th St.
Eyewitnesses said that whoever left the piano on the sandbar situated it so that at high tide the piano would still be above water.
Neither the FWC or Marine Patrol have plans to haul it off the sandbar, that is, unless it becomes a hazard to navigation.
One thing is for sure, there is a lot of speculation of why the piano is there, but not a lot of clues. So far, no one has even reported the make of the piano, and according to the video below, it looks pretty trashed.
